YouSlides
Today I stumbled across SlideShare, which looks like it’s trying to do for Powerpoint slides what YouTube has done for video. I like their little slide player and embeddable slideshows, but I don’t know if it’ll become very popular. I find that just looking at the slides of a presentation without hearing the presenter speak doesn’t convey a huge amount of information to me. But maybe you can get the main points, or maybe people will use SlideShare for sharing yet more photos of silly cats.
Anyway, here’s some slideshows I found that may be interesting:

Yep Aaron, I think you are right about it being of limited use to just see slides, but their SlideCast feature is fairly easy to use, so you can record some audio and sync it with your presentation - here’s one I did, on a topic that I’m sure you know much about about than I do!

Perhaps we can tempt you to do a better version!
Paul: Thanks, I didn’t know about the audio recording function. That sounds like it’d be a pretty easy way to share presentations where all you need to see is the slides and hear the speaker (ie don’t need to see video of the speaker). I checked out your presentation, it looks really good. I doubt I could do better :)
