The top 10 in my ranking of economics blogs are pretty well known I think, but there’s still some excellent blogs further down the list. Here’s a quick run-down of the current blogs #11-20 according to Technorati rankings:
#11: Dani Rodrik. “Unconventional thoughts on globalization and development”, by Harvard professor Dani Rodrik.
#12: Calculated Risk. A very popular finance and economics blog.
#13: Nouriel Roubini. In-depth economics commentary by New York University professor Nouriel Roubini.
#14: Real Time Economics. The Wall Street Journal’s economics blog.
#15: Cafe Hayek. George Mason University professors Don Boudreaux and Russ Roberts blog about a wide variety of economics topics.
#16: Econbrowser. Professors James Hamilton and Menzie Chin provide an “analysis of current economic conditions and policy”.
#17: TaxProf Blog. University of Cincinnati professor Paul Caron blogs about all things taxation.
#18: Market Movers by Felix Salmon. Another blog with a finance bent, updated frequently.
#19: Mish’s Global Economic Trend Analysis. Investment advisor Mike Shedlock blogs on economic trends, with lots of graphs and data.
#20: Angry Bear. Some semi-anonymous economists with “slightly left of center” tendencies.
