An article in Wired magazine explains what happens to blog posts after you click the “publish” button. Obviously they then get posted by your blog software on the web and into RSS. What’s more interesting is what happens to your post when it’s out “in the wild”. It gets picked up by data miners, spammers, search engines, social bookmarking sites, and so on, all of which represent different paths from you to readers.

The Wired article has a detailed interactive info-graphic to explain the process. The interface makes me dizzy though.
