Researchers at a Japanese university have unveiled a farming robot suit, which provides “power assistance” to the farmer’s muscles. It has a bunch of motors to assist lifting, bending, digging, etc. In some way it kind of makes sense, because farming tasks are probably too complex for a robot to perform. However, I wonder if farmers will find it worthwhile forking out the 500,000 yen price tag.
