		<description>Felix: Good idea. I think the ranking will come out the same, because Technorati's ranking is just the ranking of authority. But as you said it's easier to compare authority across blogs and across time. On the other hand, the Technorati ranking also tells us something about how econ blogs compare to non-econ blogs. I think the best thing is to report both the authority and Technorati ranking. Sounds like a project for the weekend :)</description>

		<description>It might be more helpful and more intuitive if you ranked the blogs directly by Technorati Authority, rather than indirectly by rank. That would make it much easier to make like-for-like comparisons between blogs, and it would also mean that higher was better.</description>
