It seems like Google spreadsheets has finally fixed its cut-and-paste function. For a long time, if you cut a cell and paste it somewhere in order to move it, this would break any formulas that depended on this cell. This problem made Google spreadsheets more or less useless, as it made it impossible to reorganise a spreadsheet during the process of creating it.

They’ve also added a bunch of fancy gadgets and a visualisation API. For example, here’s a chart that I created in a Google spreadsheet and have now embedded in this page (I’m not sure if it will show up in RSS readers):

If I update the data behind the chart in the spreadsheet, this embedded chart will update automatically. That’s pretty cool.
