It’s great to see bright minds and technology unleashed! But I’ll probably pass on a ride in an amateur helicopter. The real ones are dangerous enough. ;-)
As much as I admire DIY projects, I think I’ll have to agree with Speedmaster here and pass on taking a ride on this one… although the red light on top does make it quite enticing.
By the way, when you wrote “poverty doesn’t stop innovation,” wouldn’t it be more appropriate to say that poverty/necessity actually drives innovation? Though, I don’t really see the need for a DIY helicopter in where I’m assuming is rural Africa.
