Apologies, but allow me to use my blog for shameless self-promotion just this once. In a couple of weeks I’ll leave my cozy research job in Japan and return to Auckland, New Zealand, where I’ll be working as an economics consultant for an excellent little firm called Covec. I’ve put up a page on my site giving details about the consulting services that I’ll be offering through Covec.

As you can tell from my blog, I’m especially interested in Internet-related markets and businesses. I also have experience in several other areas, which are detailed on my consulting page. Although I’ll be located in New Zealand, I’m happy to work with clients from anywhere. In fact, I think my relatively low-cost location makes the rates I charge very competitive internationally.
